Sidd and Sydney

Do you believe in love at first sight?
That's how it was for me and my Wee Wedgehead, Sydney.  We took one look at each other and knew we were meant to be lifelong friends and family.

Of course having the same name didn't hurt.

Sydney is a Clip-on size Uglydoll, so he's easy to travel with, and even easier to snuggle. Don't be fooled by his tininess.  He can give a giant hug!  It's about heart, and intention, and the power of BLUE.

A huge thanks to David and Sun-min, without whom....no Uglydolls!

Uglydoll Cupcakes

Doesn't it just make you smile?  Me too!
These Uglydoll themed cupcakes were made for a birthday party.  I'm sure they were big a success.

Cozymonster Flatwoodsey Uglydoll Clock

This much awesome is a lot to process all at once.  But I'm getting it done!

Where to begin?  The colors!  You could call this color with a capitol C.  They're vibrant, but not shocking. They're bright, but not blinding. They're happy, but not goofy. They're that rare combination of qualities that combines just the right amount of "this and that" in the very most pleasing way.
It's Uglydoll!  Again!  

Cozymonster was well-named because he is softy, cozy fun. His little brown nose is ideal for his orange complexion, as are the yellow teeth.

This guy is the cure for those of you who never got next to orange.
He's a bridge builder for the orange-challenged.
And if anything can destigmatize the color pink, it is Flatwoodsey.  I am very down with pink, but some are not.  Again, be ready to turn the corner and LOVE the color pink!

The Uglydoll Clock deserves a post all it's own, so soon I will be back with that. Once it's out of the box!

Uglydolls Website Featurette

For those of you who are new to Uglydolls, or new to Ugly Chronicles, please let me introduce you to a very fun page over at Uglydolls.com.

This one allows you to download icons and desktop wallpapers, plus has links to other great pages including the store.

I like to just sit and enjoy the art on this page.  Look at little Babo on the cookie skateboard.  And the ONLY time I've even been tempted to go ballooning was when I saw Cinko and friends in their balloon baskets.  I would go with them.  Otherwise, no way!

Roller-itis

I woke up this morning with a fever....Roller the Reindeer fever.  It snuck up on me.  I was fine yesterday, but today.....I NEED Roller!

The best I could do to take the edge off my Roller-itis was to grab this photo from Toysrevil and stare at it for awhile.  But that's only temporary relief.  That guy on the left is enough to cause a relapse.

I'm on a mission to find out when we can expect to meet up with Roller. It's self-preservation!

Abima Family Portrait

We had a request for an Abima Family Portrait and the we were  happy to oblige.

The upper row is composed of the flying branch of the family.  The Winged Abima's are Uglycon 3 Exclusives from Japan.  Each color is a Limited Edition of 25.

The blue guys are Stitch Exclusive Otaku Abima's. They are Limited Editions of 100.


The others are retail versions in Classic, Little, and Clip-on sizes, with the amazing Dr. Max Abima in the center!  Yay Max!!!  Max always says that no two Uglys are alike, making each and every one a limited edition!

Prescription for Happiness #5 by Dr. Max Abima

Dr. Max last wrote a Prescription for Happiness in March.  He's been so busy being happy, he just remembered to add #5 today.

Here it is....ready?....Get your Ugly on!
You are a  tinsy insy microscopic blip on the edge of the unfathomably huge universe, and that's ok because you are the center of your own Uglyverse and magnificent.  There will  never be another you.  So do your own, unique Ugly dance, like Dr. Max.  Happy is as happy does, so do HAPPY!
