We were alarmed to notice our tiny glass Uglydog was missing from his air-cushioned case. Where in the world could such a little fellow be?
We sent out an all points bulletin to our Ugly Shire and soon discovered our tiny glass Uglydog is all Uglydoll indeed. He took himself out to inspect his new digs and to get a bit of sun. We found him proudly perched atop the glowing sun and shining just as brightly.
We coaxed him inside with cookies, a sure fire way to entice any Uglydoll. We'll have to keep an eye on this little fellow.
Uglydog is part of group of six Limited Edition Hand Crafted Glass Uglydolls just released. Find one of your own right here. Or get all six. But be warned, they may be very tiny, but they are 100% full of the adventuresome Uglydoll spirit, so keep cookies handy if you need to find them.
Welcome from the Ugly Shire!

Yellow Uglydog
We welcomed Yellow Uglydog into our family today. He's a dog of a different color! In person, he's a more vivid yellow with a slight tint of green. His soft blue eye just melts us like butter. And red teeth!
This guy is a one-of-a-kind handmade Uglydoll by Sun-min Kim and is from Uglycon 2 that took place at Giant Robot San Francisco in 2007. There were two handmade Uglydogs in that show. The other fellow was blue with a red eye.
I saw this Uglydog's photo two years ago in a forum thread and commented on how amazing I felt he was. Little did I know he would be with me someday, but I did wish and dream!
In the photo with him are a pair of Wedgehead's you may be familiar with. It's our trusty mail crew White Cat and Humphrey who regularly appear in photos orienting new family members to their surroundings.
My sincerest thanks to my Ugly friends who made this adoption possible! And a very big thank you to his other Mommie who took such loving care of him.
Oh, and then there are the amazing creators....thanks Sun-min and David!

Best Day Eve Interviews
August 18th is #1 Best Day Ever. It's an Official Uglydoll Holiday on the 2010 calendar, and is taken seriously around here. We formed an Ugly committee to work out the details of observing such an important holiday.
We picked our best and brightest, and of course Dr. Max Abima was best suited as committee chairman. Max decided this was a day best approached with a trial run. He challenged our Uglys to think, go out, and have...The Best Day Ever....EVE! That way we could work out any wrinkles.
Dr. Max observed them at their task, and interviewed a few of the Uglys for the Chronicles.

Dr. Max observed them at their task, and interviewed a few of the Uglys for the Chronicles.
Big Toe took time in the Bamboo Garden to reflect and relax. Time alone for a member of the dazzling 2010 Big Toe Collection is hard to find. Though he enjoyed it, he made an important discovery we will reveal tomorrow. Stay tuned, grasshopper!
Cookies. Cookes are wonderful !Babo wondered if it would be better to BE cookies than EAT cookies. He crammed himself into a tight box to better embody a cookie. Would that make for the best day ever?
Little Wage and Uglydog thought a adventure would be the Best Day Ever. They explored far and wide, and made some new friends. Pretty fun, but the best? We shall see.
Malcolm Wage is our Safety Officer. It's a huge responsibility. His mind is on safety, day and night. So for his Best Day Ever he went for something daring. Something risky. Something UN-safe. Metal sculpture climbing! Being Malcolm, he did tote a long his light saber, warning flasher, money, a bit of rope, and a cell phone.
"Take risks, but be smart!." Malcolm Wage.
Tomorrow Dr. Max and our Ugly family will be right back here to share with you our #1 Best Day Ever...now that we've had some practice.
We hope you will have YOUR Best Day EVER, and share with us!

Uglydogs welcome Uglypup
Uglydogs are very proud of their new little brother. They offered him their bone. He accepted. The little fellow is one of the new Uglydog Series 2 Action Figures soon to be available at your local toy store. He's about 3 inches tall and comes in a window box that is an art piece all on it's own. This Uglypup has a special tummy tatt, but he's too ticklish to show you. Maybe later.
We are so very grateful to have our darling little Uglydog.

New Uglydolls Blowin My Socks Off
Look on the back of the box! It's the new 2010 Uglydoll Action Figures. We have Uglydog, Uglworm, Poe, Big Toe, Trunko, and Peaco. I'm dizzy just thinking about. I was keeping my fingers crossed for Uglyworm, and boy did that pay off. I highly recommend finger-crossing for the big things in life. That's not all the Ugly news for today. But I'll let this awesomeness rest on your mind a little while, and soon be back with more.
Each of the 6 figures comes in 2 colors, no repeaters. Oh, and they are still a whopping 3 inches tall. Plus they come in those totally adorable and collectible window boxes. Reminds me of the larger Critterbox Uglydolls of days gone bye!

Uglydogs Blue New Year's Eve

This is Bluedog and his friend, Buzzbee. Bluedog is a classic sized Uglydoll Uglydog, not to be confused with a bluedog democrat.
This New Year's Eve Bluedog is planning his Blue Moon New Year's Eve gathering to ring in the new year and to celebrate the Blue Moon that occurs on New Year's Eve only once every 19 years. His next Blue Moon party is scheduled for New Year's in 2028. And you're invited!
Mrs. Kasoogi tells him the moon will not be blue, but rather is the second full moon in a month. Bluedog doesn't care. He's knows blue can strike where you least expect it.
If the moons not blue, he won't be disappointed because he will be with his friends and family and plans to shine so bright blue himself that no one will miss the moon.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to All Our Friends!
---------------------------
If you would like to adopt your own Blue Uglydog, head on over to the Offical Uglydoll store link on the sidebar of this blog. There's a sweet fellow waiting there for you.

Mystery Special Delivery Part 4
Ahhh. Postmaster Hunphrey Wedgie is happy to see that our new arrival is a happy and friendly Uglydog.Wedgehead White Cat (on left) is trying to comprehend how a 12" Uglydog can fit in a 3 " shipping box.
We think Pink Uglydog knew all along.
We named the new fellow Houdini, for obvious reasons. Harry for short.

We love you, Harry H Uglydog.

Mystery Special Delivery Part 2

As you can see from the prior post, we had a mystery special delivery box. There's been some recent movement. Our Postmaster Humphrey Wedgie, pictured on the right, is clearly concerned.
Our new guy on left, Wedgehead White Cat, is simply mezmerized. Whatever could be coming out of a 3 inch high box?
We don't know what our Uglydog is thinking.
Check back soon. Will keep you posted as updates develop.

We have a new White Cat...Sorta
The Uglydoll Wedgehead on the left is our newest family member. He kinda snuck up on us, so he didn't have a welcome comittee. In true Ugly style, these two cuties stepped up to say hello. The first thing out of the new guys mouth was "White Cat". When we asked his name, White Cat. Well, ok. That's fine with us. White Cat is it.
All our Uglies head right over to the Ugly Clinic where our Dr. Max Abima gives them a thorough exam. (He has the hands of a surgeon). There we fluff and clean, snip and sew as needed. For our new fellow, we began plucking white cat hairs off his body. We know there is a story there. But we also know not to ask.
Welcome Wedgie White Cat.
Pictured left to right" Wedgehead White Cat, Uglydog, and Wedgie Humphrey, who runs our home post office and message center. At a nickel per service, he is quite a bargain.
If you would like a similar package to arrive at your door, click here to be taken to the Official Uglydoll Store. Or google Wedgehead Uglydoll. Or check your local toy store. He may be waiting for you!
